Salafi, a concept describing pioneers in Islam, is so much of a 'Glittering Generalities' propaganda technique used by politicians to attract approval and acclaim without much question or reason simply because of its close association with highly-valued concepts (Salaf) and beliefs (Islam). The concept 'Salafi' is badly used and abused by post Jan.25th Egypt's wanna-be politicians to serve their very own interests. It's no surprise the Egyptian Muslim mass cannot resist such a religiously covered wave or dare to say no to their very non-sense. It's the lure of the word Salafi!
